Stop being a product-based preacher and think, instead, of being a solution-based friend.
You can go to all the trainings and go to all our events and take as many notes as you can but your focus on that, alone, will fail to open up your creative brain to new opportunities, to new solutions that you can think of all by yourself. (Really. You’re that smart.)
This doesn’t just apply to just getting the product in someone’s hands. If you’re working with a prospect who would be great on the business side of the model, it’s the same solution: Talk solution-based and opportunity-based ideas. What do they have going on that this business could relieve? What’s not working in their lives right now?
The more questions you ask, the more you’re going to be able to tailor your business to a group of people you feel you have the best solutions for. They bond with you immediately, and you can then help them forward by teaching them this very same principle.
