Nebulizer vs. Ultrasonic Diffusers

Nebulizer vs. Ultrasonic Diffusers

Nebulizer diffusers are not the same as ultrasonic diffusers. In a nutshell, nebulizer diffusers emit 100% pure essential oil mist into the air. This type of diffuser does not use water. So the mist that comes out of the diffuser is pure essential oils. Nebulizer diffusers work in a unique way. They have a glass chamber, glass tubing, and a nozzle tube. As the oil rises inside the tube, pressurized air causes the essential oil to atomize into micro-particles. The aroma fills the glass reservoir. It eventually rises up out of the glass cap. It comes out as a waterless mist and disperses into your room. That’s the basis of how they work. On the other hand, ultrasonic diffusers use water. They have an ultrasonic disk that emits vibrations. These vibrations break down the essential oils into microparticles. This process allows the essential oil to get dispersed into the air as a very fine mist, mixed with water. aromaforall
